Drawn from the lightless fissures beneath the Saltveil Deep, these enormous predatory fish serve as unwilling but effective wardens of the drowned ruins below. Their bioluminescent lures draw the curious to their deaths with casual efficiency. Sailors of the Veil regard a sighting of multiple lures rising from the black water as an omen requiring immediate course correction.
