A Gravy Elemental forms when a master chef's cooking ambition exceeds all natural bounds and roasting fumes coalesce into living meat-stock. It wobbles menacingly through the kitchens and banquet halls of Gastrothia, drawn to heat sources and the rich smell of roasting meat. The creature is intelligent enough to corner prey near hearths where its Savory Regeneration kicks in, and will actively herd victims toward cooking fires. Those unfortunate enough to be engulfed report feeling remarkably well-seasoned. The elemental has no known weakness except cold water, which causes it to separate into a thin, disappointing broth. Gastrothian sages debate whether defeating one constitutes a culinary achievement. The answer is yes.
